What Happens at Camp

Every week at camp is a new experience

Each week’s schedule is managed by the weekly director and tailored to the age group of their campers. These are just a few things campers will experience in some capacity during each camp week!

Evening chapel happens each day of camp. It is a time filled with acapella worship, prayer, and a devotional. It usually happens in the OR Building (named for a donor who helped camp begin in 1963). Worship may be led by campers, staff, directors, or visitors from local churches. There’s nothing like hearing a large group of kids singing songs of praise together!

Campers have the opportunity to do arts and crafts throughout the week. Painting, beads, and tie-dye are frequent crafts that campers look forward to every year!

Crafts

We provide age-appropriate Bible studies that are tailored to the needs and interests of each group of campers. From interactive games and activities to in-depth discussions and reflections, our Bible studies are designed to be engaging, challenging, and relevant to campers' lives.

Whether campers are new to the Bible or have been studying it for years, our Bible studies offer a valuable opportunity to connect with God and grow in faith.

Bible Studies

Campers have plenty of time to participate in recreation of all types throughout the week. Group games, basketball, kickball, four square, ultimate frisbee, hiking, gaga ball, water wars, and more! There’s always something for the campers to do without worrying about electronics, TV shows, and distractions.

Recreation

While we’re excited to spend time with each other and have fun, our mission is to strengthen the faith of our campers. The focus on Christ means that camp is a place that many decide to commit their lives to their faith through baptism. Hundreds have made that decision while at camp. We’re happy to God work through the lives of the campers.
